Since 2019 Susie Brown has served as the president of the Minnesota Council on Foundations, a vibrant philanthropic community connecting, strengthening and mobilizing the power of philanthropy to advance prosperity and equity. Susie’s background is in nonprofit management, public policy and association management. Her professional roles have included executive director of the Hennepin County Bar Association, public policy director at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and Hamline University School of Business faculty, among others. Susie has a masters of public administration from the University of Vermont and a bachelors of arts from Lewis & Clark College. She lives in St. Paul and currently serves on the finance committee for United Philanthropy Forum and the human resources committee for the Saint Croix Valley Foundation.
