Nichole Melton Mitchell joined Medica as Senior Vice President of Strategic Product & Business Development in January 2025. She shapes the organization’s product and business development strategy and leads the Vice President/General Manager team across Medica’s four segments: Commercial, Individual & Family Business, Medicare, and Medicaid. She also oversees the Business Development team.

A licensed attorney and accomplished leader, Nichole brings more than 25 years of experience in health care operations, profit and loss management, and regulatory affairs. Before joining Medica, she held several leadership roles, including Managed Care Associate at Reed Smith, Senior Vice President of Implementation at CareSource, and Chief Operating Officer at Alina Health | Aetna.

Nichole earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver — Sturm College of Law, and holds both a Master of Health Care Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Clayton State University.

Outside of work, Nichole enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and actively participating in her church community.
