Lori Collins

Owner and Principal, Collins Climate Consulting

Lori Collins is owner and Principal of Collins Climate Consulting, a strategic advisory to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy. She is a successful financial technology entrepreneur who transformed her career to focus on financing for climate solutions. She now consults with investors, governments and energy companies to mobilize capital markets for clean energy and climate resilience.  

Collins was on the original executive team at LendingTree that grew the company from $7M to $476M in revenue and saw the company through a successful acquisition by internet and media leader IAC. Prior roles included head of marketing for Bank of America's mutual fund business; VP at Fidelity Investments; director of marketing at American Express, and corporate lending at Bank of America. 

Collins brought her financial background to the energy sector over 15 years ago. She served as president of Abundant Power Solutions, an energy financing venture, and worked with Duke Energy to launch the Joules Accelerator for clean energy startups.

Collins serves on the U.S. EPA Environmental Financial Advisory Board and the Board of Southeastern Wind Coalition. She holds a MSc in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh; MBA from Kellogg; and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill.
