Linda Kearney is a seasoned healthcare executive, corporate counsel and governance expert with over two decades of leadership experience in healthcare, legal, risk management, and regulatory compliance. At Elevance Health [NYSE: ELV], a $173 billion Fortune 20 company serving 46.8 million members, Linda has counseled all segments of the business and partnered with leadership to drive the strategic mission of the organization and its growth.

Her career in healthcare has spanned commercial and government health plans, pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacies and health services. Her scope of work includes working on issues with state and federal regulators, the Department of Justice, state Attorneys General and health industry associations. She provides cross functional advising with finance and accounting, internal audit, ethics and compliance, M&A, government affairs/public policy, crisis management and data strategy.

At Elevance Health Linda partners with executives to identify and creatively solve operational and policy issues. She has overseen critical risk assessments, directed internal audits and investigations, managed litigation and resolved disputes carrying significant financial and reputational risk. She has successfully driven enterprise-wide reimbursement strategies, created review programs to combat fraud, waste and abuse, and led changes to corporate policies and business practices to protect the company. As an official mentor at Elevance Health and a founding member of the Anthem Diversity Council, she actively supports leadership development.

Linda holds a JD from Notre Dame Law School, and a BA from The George Washington University. She recently completed the Women on Boards program at Harvard Business School, further solidifying her expertise in board leadership. She is a dual citizen with the Cherokee Nation and resides in Austin with her husband John. She is a high adventure outdoor enthusiast.
