Kristen Oats is a Director in RSM’s CFO Services group and is based in Chicago. She has over fifteen years of hands-on finance operations experience and has held both consulting and corporate finance roles, most notably at GE. Ms. Oats’ expertise is leading complex, event-driven initiatives and their respective global implementations across a variety of industries, geographies and company sizes. Prior to joining RSM in 2021, she was an Associate Director with Berkeley Research Group’s CFO Solutions practice where she led event-driven finance and operational transformation projects for private equity backed and public companies, with projects encompassing headquarters relocations, carve-outs and post-merger integrations. Prior to BRG, she was a Director at FTI Consulting in the office of the CFO practice where she led complex finance transformations across a variety of industries and company sizes. She started her career at GE Capital where she completed GE's Financial Management Program, and then moved to GE Oil and Gas where she led enterprise-wide finance initiatives for the $5B business.
