Hunter Bruton is a seasoned litigator with expertise spanning complex commercial disputes, class actions, administrative law, and appellate advocacy. A former law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, Hunter has argued before multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals and shaped precedent in constitutional law, federal preemption, sovereign immunity, and trade secret misappropriation.

He advises clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to emerging growth firms, balancing risk mitigation with business objectives. Based in North Carolina, Hunter practices nationwide and frequently litigates in the North Carolina Business Court and state appellate courts.

A Duke Law valedictorian, Hunter previously served as a Bristow Fellow at the U.S. Department of Justice and clerked for federal judges at both appellate and district levels. Beyond the courtroom, he is an avid golfer, pickleball enthusiast, and salsa dancer.
