Deepak currently serves as Partner in PwC’s Cloud and Digital practice. Previously, he was Partner and Director at BCG and Chief Scientist at TCS. Prior to consulting, Deepak led engineering and innovation teams globally and helped build some of the world’s first of kind systems in consumer electronics, telecom and connected healthcare. Deepak brings 23+ years of experience in digital technologies (Cloud, Big Data, AI , Blockchain, IoT, etc.) and business transformation across a range of verticals, including financial services, telecom, fintech, healthcare, IG, etc. He has deep practical knowledge in the Internet of Things, having successfully built IoT solutions in wearables and connected healthcare, powerline networked consumer electronics and digital supply chain solutions. He has also consulted extensively on Industry 4.0 applications and IoT platforms, and how IoT can transform the digital business, having advised Boards and C-suite executives on the technical capabilities, governance, GTM and value proposition of IoT. He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, has 27 issued patents and has spoken and published extensively in industry journals and conferences.
