In 2022 the SCL Health System, headquartered in Denver, CO, and the Intermountain Health System, headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT, merged to form a $16 Billion dollar health system that geographically covers much of the Rocky Mountain regions.

This highly successful merger was driven by the direction from the two health system boards, working with health system leadership, to maneuver the discernment process to a complete, effective close in a very short time frame.
