About The Event
Intangible assets, including intellectual property that requires significant investments of brainpower and highly skilled labor, are a substantial driver of shareholder value. Board and management are responsible for collaborating to extract value from IP and protect those assets from competitors or nation-state actors.
In this peer-to-peer roundtable, corporate directors will learn about:
Emerging risks to protecting their essential competitive advantage and the associated duties owed by directors under corporate law
How changing technology requires new training and safeguards throughout an organization
What corporate directors should consider in establishing IP protection and enhancing the value of those assets.
The program begins with a networking breakfast at 7:30, followed by a short presentation and roundtable discussion from 8-9 a.m.
