Maggie FitzPatrick

Maggie FitzPatrick is a top business leader who has spent her career working to strengthen engagement between businesses and communities. She is the founder of FitzPatrick & Co. and previously served in the C-suite of Exelon, Johnson & Johnson, and Cigna. She is widely recognized as an expert on corporate affairs and board optimization. FitzPatrick has extensive experience serving on nonprofit and publicly traded boards. She is currently a director at two Nasdaq-listed companies, Vistagen Therapeutics and AN2 Therapeutics. In 2023, she was named to the expert faculty of the NACD Board Advisory Services®. FitzPatrick has been featured in Fortune magazine on topics related to effective governance and was a speaker at the 2022 and 2023 NACD Directors Summit™ and the 2024 International Corporate Governance Network Conference. She is an advocate for inclusive boards and works tirelessly to support programs designed to help women succeed in the boardroom. FitzPatrick began her career in public policy and government service. She holds a master of arts degree in public policy from The George Washington University and a bachelor of arts degree in English and policy studies from Syracuse University. She is a graduate of the Harvard Business School board directorship program and holds NACD Directorship Certification®.
