Dannetta Bland serves as Accenture’s Board Effectiveness and Sustainability lead. She serves as the North America lead for Board Effectiveness and Sustainability at Accenture. Additionally, Bland sits on the North America Sustainability Services Executive Leadership Team, where she is responsible for embedding sustainability within our client’s human capital processes and function, via learning and development, operating models, etc. Prior to joining Accenture, Bland served as vice chancellor and chief diversity officer at the University of North Texas System. She joined the UNT System after spending nearly 17 years at Deloitte. While at Deloitte, Bland held a variety of client-facing leadership roles in crisis management, board effectiveness, executive transition, workforce transformation, and DE&I. Additionally, she served as a team lead within the DE&I Consulting practice and helped clients develop, assess, and execute DE&I strategies. Bland serves on multiple nonprofit boards.
