Bruce Winchell practiced law in Seattle for 35 years, primarily focusing on business and insurance litigation. Prior to that, he was a Certified Public Accountant with a large firm in Chicago. For ten years he served as an independent director of a national consulting firm with a specialized focus on disaster related government contracts. That firm was ultimately acquired in a private equity transaction. He also chaired the audit committee of that firm. Bruce has served on and chaired numerous non-profit boards including Bayview Manor, a senior housing provider in Seattle and the Litigation Section of the Washington State Bar Association. He also twice served as managing partner of his Seattle law firm.
