Dewayne is an Audit Partner and the Office Managing Partner of Grant Thornton’s Raleigh office. Dewayne is also the leader of Grant Thornton’s Technology Industry practice in the Carolinas. He has over 27 years’ experience in public accounting. Dewayne has spent his entire career primarily serving high-growth, transaction-oriented companies in the technology, service and manufacturing industries. Dewayne also has significant SEC experience and has served public companies his entire career. In addition to providing standard assurance services, Dewayne has experience in Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 internal control implementations and mergers and acquisitions, including performing due diligence and consulting on purchase accounting and financial reporting. He also has significant expertise in public and private debt and equity offerings, as well as consulting on internal controls and process improvements and technical accounting matters.
