When you post an opening on NACD’s Board Opportunity Portal, you are getting exclusive access to NACD’s diverse membership community—most of whom are actively looking for a new board position or who would at least be interested if the right role presented itself.
NACD’s community of members includes more than 20,000 directors who govern businesses ranging from the most innovative start-ups to private and family-run businesses to the F500. Not only is our membership vast, our members are committed to ongoing director education and continually improving their effectiveness in the boardroom.
We will first send you a quick questionnaire regarding the director you are looking for. From there, we will help you create a posting that best reflects your open role. Once we publish your role live on the site, it will be available for our NACD members to see. Interested candidates will apply directly to you. You will receive their information and résumés as they come in and you are free to contact them should you wish to proceed with their candidacy. If you prefer that we collect the candidates for you, or do any other heavy lifting, we’re happy to help.
