Whitlock helps busy professionals and organizations integrate purpose, intention, and mindfulness into their day-to-day work in order to increase employee satisfaction, productivity, and work-life balance. Profile - Betsy Bernard Betsy Bernard Director Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc., Principal Financial Group Betsy Bernard is a public company board director whose experience spans 20 years and includes United Technologies, Principal Financial Group, Serco Group PLC, URS, Telular, Zimmer Biomet Holdings, and SITO Mobile. Bernard spent her career in the telecommunications industry and retired as president of AT&T. For three consecutive years she was recognized as one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” by Fortune magazine. Bernard chairs the human resource committee at the Principal Financial Group and is a member of their audit committee. In addition, she chairs the nominating and governance committee at Zimmer Biomet Holdings and is a member of their audit committee.
Profile - Dave Wilson Dave Wilson Lead Independent Director CoreSite Realty Corp.; Audit Committee Chair, Barnes & Noble Education Inc. David A. Wilson currently serves as lead independent director of CoreSite Realty Corp. and is a director of Barnes & Noble Education Inc.; he chairs the audit committees of both companies. Wilson also has served as a director of Barnes & Noble Inc., Terra Industries Inc., and Laureate Education Inc. From 1995 to 2013 he served as CEO of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), a nonprofit education association that provides the Graduate Management Admission Test, or GMAT. Prior to GMAC, Wilson was a managing partner with EY and served as the firm’s national director of professional development. He has been a faculty member of Queen’s University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of Texas where he was tenured, and Harvard Business School. He is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow and was honored as an NACD Directorship 100 in 2015.
Profile - Jennifer Wolfe Jennifer Wolfe Founder & CEO Dot Brand 360 Jennifer Wolfe is CEO of Dot Brand 360, a digital agency and registrar, and principal of Wolfe Board Advisors, where she consults with boards and C-suite executives on digital and cybersecurity trends. She was previously the managing partner of patent law firm, Wolfe, Sadler, Breen, Morasch & Colby, and the first female president of the Greater Cincinnati Venture Capital Association. Her highly acclaimed books—Digital in the Boardroom (2016), Domain Names Rewired (2013), and Brand Rewired (2010—have been endorsed by senior executives from Microsoft, Uber, Procter & Gamble, and the Motion Picture Association of America. She has written a regular column in Click Z and Search Engine Watch about future digital trends and was named one of the top IP strategists in the world by IAM magazine. She held leadership roles in ICANN, is part of the Direct Women Institute, and was an investor and director in technology start-ups. Wolfe is an NACD Governance Fellow.
Profile - Peter Lupo Peter Lupo Senior Managing Director & Atlantic Region Head Pearl Meyer Pete Lupo is a senior managing director with Pearl Meyer and head of the firm’s Atlantic Region. Lupo has worked extensively with compensation committees and management covering a variety of needs, including the development of totalcompensation programs covering the senior leadership team, aligning pay to performance, designing annual and long-term incentive plans, developing board of director pay programs, and advising on change in control, executive benefits, perquisites, and governance-related matters. Before joining Pearl Meyer, Lupo held the National Compensation Practice leader role with Aon Consulting. He also has served as a principal and senior executive compensation consultant with Mercer Human Resources Consulting and as a benefits consultant at Towers Perrin.

Erin Essenmacher serves as the chief programming officer for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), responsible for the content curation, strategy, and execution of more than 60 virtual and brick-and-mortar education programs and events each year. Essenmacher is also an award-winning writer, director, and producer with nearly 20 years of experience in media production. She has written, directed, and produced films for PBS, the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, the History Channel, and Court TV, and she produced and co-wrote the critically acclaimed independent documentary, MINE. Essenmacher currently serves on the board of EILEEN FISHER, Inc.

Howard Brod Brownstein is president and founder of The Brownstein Corp., a nationally-known turnaround-management firm. Brownstein regularly serves as an independent director. He currently chairs the nominating and governance and the strategic planning and risk assessment committees of P&F Industries Inc., and serves on the board of Merakey. Previously, he was the audit chair of PICO Holdings Inc., and also sole board member of Betsey Johnson LLC. He chaired the audit committees of LMG2 LLC and Special Metals Corp., and served on the board of Magnatrax Corp. He has chaired the boards of the National Philanthropic Trust and a United Way agency, and was a director of a regional bank and a retail department store. Profile - Andrea Bonime-Blanc Andrea Bonime-Blanc Founder & CEO, GEC Risk Advisory; Ethics Advisor Financial Oversight & Management Board for Puerto Rico; Governance Chair, Epic Theatre Ensemble; Chair Emeritus, Ethics and Compliance Association Andrea Bonime-Blanc is the CEO and founder of GEC Risk Advisory. She has held senior executive roles at Bertelsmann, PSEG, and Verint Systems and numerous board seats for 25 years. In 2017, she was appointed Ethics Advisor to the Financial Oversight & Management Board for Puerto Rico. In both 2014 and 2015, the Ethisphere Institute recognized her as among the “100 Most Influential in Business Ethics.” She is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow and governance faculty, a Carnegie Mellon CERT-Certificate in Cyber-Security Oversight holder, and a governance mentor at Plug & Play Tech Center. Additionally, she was named 2018 inaugural "Directors and Chief Risk Officers Exemplar" and a “Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior” by Trust Across America in 2014. She is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Bonime-Blanc has published widely. Her latest book is Gloom to Boom: How Leaders Transform Risk into Resilience & Value.
Profile - Steven R. Walker Steven R. Walker General Counsel, Managing Director of Board Advisory and Recruitment Services NACD Steven R. Walker is general counsel of NACD and managing director of NACD’s Board Services Group. He leads the Board Advisory Services faculty in providing counsel to board leaders and C-suite executives on a wide range of strategic governance matters. Walker has served as a senior executive or general counsel to entities ranging from private equity backed corporations to the Fortune 100. Steve also served as an Attorney-Advisor to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 2001 to 2004. Walker is a frequent public speaker on the topics of board governance, performance, composition, and strategic influence. He currently sits on the boards of Objective Interface Systems Inc. and ContractRoom. He has served on the Orange Bowl Committee, the Association of Corporate Counsel–Michigan Chapter, and the Friends of the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts–Miami. Walker has been designated a Board Leadership and Governance Fellow by NACD.
Profile - Paula Cholmondeley Paula Cholmondeley Chief Executive Officer The Sorrel Group Paula H. J. Cholmondeley is a director of Terex Corp. and Bank of the Ozarks. She is an independent trustee of the Nationwide Mutual Funds were she currently chairs the audit committee and is a member of the investment committee. Her previous public company boards include Ultra Life Inc., Armco Steel Inc., Albany International, Dentsply International, and Minerals Technologies. During her business career, Cholmondeley has led divisions with revenues up to $750 million and served as chief financial officer of companies with revenues up to $2 billion. She is member of the faculty of the National Association of Corporate Directors In-Board Room and Board Advisory Services where she teaches board governance and facilitates board evaluations. She is also a NACD Board Leadership Fellow. She was elected to the NACD Directorship 100 in 2015.

Prior to joining RSM, Depew worked in economics for Bloomberg LP, where he helped create the Bloomberg Brief economics newsletter. His former roles include chief strategist, director of research, financial markets analyst, and portfolio manager. Depew is also an Emmy Award-winning writer and producer.

Bastoni has held a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, she was chief human resource officer for BMGI, and prior to joining BMGI, she was chief human resource and communications officer for Carlson. Earlier, she held leadership roles with the Coca-Cola Co., Thales, Suez Environment, and KPMG. Bastoni sits on the board of NACD Northwest chapter where she chairs the membership committee. She is president of the remuneration committee for Jeronimo Martins (Lisbon), and president of the remuneration and nomination committees for Société BIC (Paris). Bastoni is also a member of WomenCorporateDirectors and a frequent speaker at the University of Washington MBA programs.

She previously was a research consultant in the Executive Compensation practice at Towers Perrin and a tax consultant in the Family Wealth Planning practice of Arthur Andersen. Barrett is an adjunct lecturer at the University of San Diego School of Business. In 2018, she was appointed to the Insurance Diversity Task Force in California. Barrett is a director of the Corporate Directors Forum, and was named a Millstein Rising Star in Corporate Governance (2008). She serves as the San Diego Campaign cochair for 2020 Women on Boards.
Profile - Rochelle Campbell Rochelle Campbell Director, Board Services NACD Rochelle Campbell leads the National Association of Corporate Directors’ (NACD) Board Recruitment practice. She has placed directors on corporate boards ranging from family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies and spanning a breadth of industries including construction, technology, energy, insurance, financial services, and global manufacturing. Eighty-five percent of NACD’s placements in 2017 were diversity candidates. Campbell has advised more than 3,000 boards on leading governance practices and board composition. She also coaches more than 350 military flag and one- to four-star general officers, helping them to successfully transition their military experience into the private sector. Rochelle is a director of Child Steps International, an international nonprofit supporting children and communities in Liberia. She chairs their communications committee.

Earlier, Etchart was executive vice president, Asia Pacific, for Manitowoc Co., based first in Singapore and then in Shanghai. He also held roles as managing director for Potain SAP in Milan and as an international sales and marketing vice president (among other roles) for PPM SA in France. Etchart has been a speaker on The Executive Committee, a peer-advisory group, for the MBA program of HEC in Paris since 2018.
