From Battlefield to Boardroom is an exclusive board development program designed to prepare retired and soon-to-retire military flag and general officers to serve in the boardroom. Join NACD and your peers in Georgetown for an evening of networking and cocktails, followed by two days of programming. The agenda will focus on topics ranging from boardroom basics to more complex issues of strategy, oversight and stakeholder management.
Attendees will interact with directors and corporate governance professionals who have years of hands-on experience as well as access to mentorship and networking opportunities with experienced flag and general officers-turned-board members.
Who Should Attend?
- Recently retired and soon-to-retire military flag and general officers who aspire to serve on a corporate board
- Retired military flag and general officers, currently serving on a board, looking to deepen their boardroom knowledge and expand their boardroom service
Qualified participants pay only a $1495 registration fee. This registration fee covers the cost of the program, meals provided at the course, a two-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, DC, NACD’s How to Become a Director distance learning course and access to select NACD member benefits for one year.
