Joe Griesedick

Joe Griesedieck is vice chair and co-leader of Board & CEO Services at Korn Ferry. With more than 30 years in the executive search profession, Mr. Griesedieck is considered to be one of the industry's premier leaders. His focus at Korn Ferry is primarily on engagements for Board Director searches across multiple industries, as well as working with Boards of Directors on succession planning and other related senior talent management solutions. His prior experience includes two terms as global chief executive officer of another international search firm. He also served as co-head of the firm's Strategic leadership services practice in North America. He  began his career in executive search with another leading firm, establishing their offices in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. Prior to entering the executive search profession, he was a group vice president with Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. and spent a number of years with the Falstaff Brewing Corp., concluding his tenure as president and chief operating officer. He also served as a director of this NYSE company. He was named by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) to the 2010 Directorship 100, recognizing the most influential people in corporate governance and the boardroom. Griesedieck is a member of the Board of Jobs for America's Graduates, a national volunteer organization that provides comprehensive school-to-career programs to more than 85,000 at-risk high school youth in 27 states. He is also serves as a member of the Board of Strategic Partnerships, LLC, a Washington, D.C.-based business services company. He is a graduate of Brown University.
