Adam R. Kokas is the executive vice president, general counsel, chief human resources officer, and secretary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. (AAWW) and its airline operating subsidiaries: Atlas Air Inc., Southern Air Inc., and Polar Air Cargo Worldwide Inc. Prior to joining Atlas, he was a partner in the corporate department of Ropes & Gray LLP, focusing on general corporate, securities, and business law. Kokas is a director of several AAWW subsidiary companies, including the airlines Atlas Air, Southern Air, Polar Air Cargo Worldwide (a joint venture with DHL Express), and Titan Aviation (an aircraft leasing subsidiary). Additionally, Kokas chairs the Cargo Airline Association, a nonprofit trade organization. He is a member of the bar in New York and New Jersey.

Shane Goodwin is a senior fellow and project director at the Richard Paul Richman Center for Business, Law, and Public Policy at Columbia University. Additionally, Goodwin is a senior fellow at the Harvard Law School Program on Corporate Governance. Most recently, he was a fellow of business economics at Harvard Business School. His research is focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and shareholder activism. Goodwin serves on the Harvard University Extension School faculty, where he teaches Global Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Governance. Goodwin has 25 years of M&A, corporate finance, and principal investing experience at Wall Street firms including Goldman, Sachs & Co.; Citigroup; and Credit Suisse / Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Goodwin is the chair of Argus Capital Partners and on the Associate Board of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
