Examine the board's role in constructively working with management to maximize impact on development, execution, and modification of the strategic plan and discuss questions including: How involved should the board be in crafting strategy and at what stage in the process? When do we know we have a plan that can be executed? How do we know we have the right metrics and milestones, and how do we evaluate them? What are the expectations and leading practices in board oversight of strategy?
