How Board Members Add Value to Family Businesses

This session will focus on how family business leaders actually get the most value from their boards. Opening remarks will be provided by David C. Phillips. Five family business leaders and directors will participate by pre-arrangement, representing American Dehydrated Foods, Crescent Electric Supply, E. Ritter & Co., Midmark Corporation, and Nixon Medical Wear. The mix includes a founder, a second generation CEO, and a third generation family director. The businesses range from $50m to $1b. Family business owners, executives, and directors in the room will be encouraged to share their experiences as well.
