Governance, Responsibilities, and Leading Practices for the Family Business
Concurrent Session
Monday, October 20, 2008, 10:45 AM
An interactive session explores how family business owners can relate best to independent directors, inactive family shareholders, and outside investors. We'll also address how the family's role in governance changes after the company goes public. A case study presents the opportunity to discuss the boundaries among the various stakeholders and illustrates the importance of allowing each a voice.
