How do I submit my credits for the Institute-approved events I attend?Depending on the nature of the event, you may need to submit a Credit Reporting Form to receive credit.
NACD-Produced National Events DO NOT require a Credit Reporting Form to be submitted. Credits are automatically applied once your attendance and completion of the course is confirmed. These programs include seminars, conferences and In-Boardroom programs where the NACD national office in Washington, DC takes your registrations, either by phone, fax, or online. A Credit Reporting Form is NOT required.
The following programs DO require a Credit Reporting Form to be submitted:
1. NACD Chapter Programs: NACD chapters will report your attendance at meetings by supplying the NACD Corporate Directors Institute with the roster.
2. Non-NACD Programs (approved by the Institute): Credit Reporting Forms may be obtained by contacting NACD, or online at www.nacdonline.org/cdinstitute. For non-NACD programs, you must attach proof of attendance and fill out the contact information for the education provider on the Credit Reporting Form. Credit is only provided for a select list of programs. Click here for an up-to-date list of approved programs.
