Affiliated Organizations

NACD often develops affiliate relationships with other professional and industry organizations whose missions complement NACD's and whose services can be of benefit to NACD members. NACD member directors and boards can benefit from these Affiliate relationships in the following ways:

• access to unique, collaborative educational programs conducted by NACD and the Affiliate organization
• reciprocal membership discounts (or product/service discounts)
• access to research and publications developed by both organizations.

NACD Affiliates on the whole are not sponsors of NACD, but are relationships for the purpose of providing reciprocal benefit to the members of both organizations. Sponsors of NACD's Center for Board Leadership and the annual Blue Ribbon Commission Report are known as Alliance Partners.

NACD Affiliations America's Community Bankers America's Community Bankers is an independent national trade association that represents the nation's community banks of all charter types and sizes. ACB members pursue progressive, entrepreneurial and service-oriented strategies in providing financial services to benefit their customers and communities. Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) The American Corporate Counsel Association promotes the common professional and business interests of attorneys who are employed to practice law by corporations, associations, and other private-sector organizations by developing and disseminating information, providing educational initiatives, facilitating networking opportunities, supporting collegiality, and engaging in advocacy on behalf of the in-house bar. Institute of Corporate Directors The goal of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) is to ensure that directors are well prepared to deal effectively with the responsibilities of their position and are well informed about the ever-changing demands of corporate governance. Institutional Shareholder Services Institutional Shareholder Services is the world's largest provider of proxy voting and corporate governance services. The International Women's Forum The International Women's Forum is an organization of preeminent women of significant and diverse achievement. Members come together across national and international boundaries to share knowledge and ideas, to enrich each other's lives, to provide a network of support, and to exert influence. Through the Leadership Foundation, the International Women's Forum helps prepare future generations of women leaders.
