The conference is October 19-21, 2008, at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC.

*We welcome participation from any director, CEO, or non-voting attendee (e.g., executive officer, corporate secretary, general counsel, board observer) who serves on the board of a U.S. public, private, or not-for-profit organization. Those serving on multiple boards may take the survey multiple times.

Upon following these links, you will be prompted to enter your e-mail address. This information will not be published or sold—but will be used for the purpose of sending you a Unique Link for survey participation.

This Unique Link will allow you to anonymously save your responses, and return to the survey at a later time should you be unable to complete it in one sitting.

The survey has approximately 100 questions.

If you serve on multiple boards, we encourage you to fill out the survey multiple times, each time answering with respect to a single board. Please use the above links to request a new Unique Link for each separate survey you wish to complete.

In appreciation of your participation, NACD will e-mail you an electronic copy of the final report(s) for all survey(s) which you complete, detailing trends and benchmarking data in the appropriate sector.

This electronic copy is exclusive for survey participants, and will not be available for purchase. Hardcopies will be available for $50 for NACD members and $150 for nonmembers.

To maximize the effectiveness of this survey, we need as many thoughtful responses as possible. ^*Void where prohibited. No survey submission required. Entries without survey submission may be requested by writing to NACD, 1133 21st St. NW, Suite 700, Washington DC 20036. One submission per person. Must be 18 years or older. Local, state, and federal taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Cash value of the conference ticket is estimated at $1100. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entrants received. The winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the survey intake window and will be notified by e-mail.
